Seasoned with the folky strum of mandolins and the chiming of piano, “Snow Angels” is a fresh winter anthem that offers an ode to the winter season, with Davis singing, “I wake up to the sunrise, and look out my window, what I see outside, is a winter wonderland,” as he takes delight in “dancing with the snow angels.”  Davis’s breathy vocal is a comfort amid the snow storm, gentle and sweet, with blossoming images of spending warm times with family and friends during the winter season.

Accompanying the song’s release is an innovative music video that employs stop-motion animation across a chalkboard, including hand-drawn snow crystals and an intricate illustration of a winterscape composed by five kids.  The video’s animation was directed by Keiko Sono of New York-based Flick Book Studio.
